World famous roboticist Mark W. Tilden visited Oslo on September 1, 2006, and was interviewed for the Norwegian radio science show "Superstreng". This is a full-length, English-language version of the original interview, in which Mark talks about his background, his work as a robot scientist, the principles behind BEAM robotics and nervous nets, the Robosapien series and the future of robotics. A typical quote from our conversation:

If you've ever been so drunk that your body takes over automatically and you're dancing all by yourself, that's what a nervous net is: your body is taking over.
